Relax! God put the wiggle in children;
don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house. All are welcome!
Sometimes, Catholic services can be confusing for non-Catholics. We'd like to share some information that might help. All are welcome to join us in prayer. We do ask that our guests, and members, show respect for God and His house.
The Hymnals: The words of the hymns, prayers, and Scripture readings for the Masses can be found in the One in Faith hymnal found in the pews. Hymns are usually posted digitally on the small display on the left side of the sanctuary.
Holy Communion: For Catholics, Holy Communion not only nourishes us with the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, it is also the source and summit of our faith, our communion, the profession of our faith as the Body of Christ. Those who do not profess the Catholic Faith should not receive Holy Communion. However, we welcome and encourage those who are present to come up for a blessing, if you would like. Simply cross your arms in front of your chest and approach the altar with others in the communion line. When you are in front of the priest, he will give you a blessing and you may return to the pew.
We welcome all people to pray together with us, and we look forward to welcoming you at our Parish!
