St. Vincent de Paul

The Blessed Sacrament Conference of St. Vincent de Paul believes Service, Spirituality, and Friendship work together to best serve our neighbors in need in our community.  Our volunteers meet twice each month to share experiences in serving others, to support the financial aspect of the organization, to brainstorm ideas for better serving the needy, and to grow closer in friendship and to God.  We provide face-to-face service to those in need, giving them vouchers for bedding, furniture, and energy assistance. 

In addition, we provide donations to the SVdP food pantry and pharmacy, Christmas gifts for children, and we have purchased supplies for Port St. Vincent (a home for men) and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton House (transitional housing for women and children).  We also provide time and labor at the SVdP Food Pantry, the largest food pantry in Dane County.
