"But to what? For what?" you might be asking. Sound familiar? Like a thought that has crossed your mind?
God has created each one of us to know Him, love Him, serve Him, and to be happy -truly happy - with Him for all eternity. In His Will for each of us, God has called us to use the talents, treasures, and time in a way that is unique to who He made each of us to be. For some, this calling is among the laity - the every day members of His Church: husbands, wives, dads, moms, teachers, doctors, lawyers, construction workers, sanitation, administrators, military service, and so many others. For others, God gives a very particular calling to draw closer to Him through Holy Orders, or Sacred Vows or Promises.
Here on this page, you can find resources on Religious Vocations. As a Dominican Parish, we are privileged and proud to share information about vocational resources in the Dominican Order, particularly with the Province of St. Albert the Great (the Province of the Dominican Order to which Blessed Sacrament is a part of).
Additionally, being in the Diocese of Madison, we are happy to share resources at the Diocesan level, as well.
