Elementary School Religious Education (Grades K-8)
Join the RE Connection at BSP!
Blessed Sacrament Parish invites all student parishioners grades 1-8 to join our Religious Education Program on Sundays from October through April. Course work, service, social and community opportunities, and prayer are the main components of our program. Beginning in October and lasting into April your child has the opportunity to break open the Word of God from 10:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Through class discussion, dramatization, activities, and prayer, he/she will learn about our Catholic faith, grow together as a child of God, and become aware of his/her connection to the Blessed Sacrament community. Enroll in the RE Connection and experience our faith in an upbeat, service orientated, and exciting way. For more information please visit our website at blsacrament.org or contact Mary Jo Vitale at mjvitale@blsacrament.org.

Religious Education Volunteer Opportunities Await You!
The Blessed Sacrament Religious Education Program is growing by leaps and bounds! Last year enrollment increased by 100% ! As enrollment increases so does the need for volunteers. We are developing an exciting Religious Education Program and NEED YOUR HELP! I am asking for classroom teachers (seniors in high school, college students, and adults) as well as student aids (grades 6 through junior in high school) to help share our Catholic faith with students grades 1-8 at Blessed Sacrament Parish. Many of these opportunities provide service hours for confirmation as well as other service expectations. For additional information contact Mary Jo Vitale at mjvitale@blsacrament.org.

Second Grade - Sacramental Year!
This is a BIG YEAR for your second grader! This year your child will make his/her First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. As you are the primary faith educators of your child, I look forward to teaming up with you in providing your child with a strong faith foundation.
Mark your calendars for the important dates:
Registration – Be sure to register your child in Blessed Sacrament’s Religious Education Program (registration).
Fees – An additional Sacramental Fee ($45.00) is required which covers the additional materials, reception, and retreat costs.
Parent Meeting – Attend the Sacramental Parent Meeting in October. This meeting will provide you with the background and materials needed to begin your faith journey with your child at home.
